Haifa to Ashdod

From Haifa to Ashdod, or vice versa, Israel Elite Tours offers two different tour options for you to choose from.

Haifa to Ashdod

Option 1: Nazareth, Galilee, and Jerusalem Tour
This two-day tour begins with a drive from Haifa to Nazareth, where you'll visit the Church of the Annunciation and Cana. Next, you'll head to the Mt. of Beatitudes and Capernaum before visiting the Baptismal Site on the Jordan River. From there, you'll drive through the Jordan Valley, passing by Jericho on the way to Jerusalem. In Jerusalem, you'll first go to one of the panoramic viewpoints (either Mt. of Olives or Mt. Scopus) before heading to your hotel to check in and spend the night. On the second day, you'll start with a tour of the Old City of Jerusalem, including Mt. Zion, the Jewish Quarter (the Cardo, the Western Wall), the Christian Quarter (the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre), the Arab Quarter (with its terrific markets) and Jaffa Gate. After that, you'll go on a driving sightseeing tour of the modern western side of the city, visiting Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum before heading out of Jerusalem to Ashdod. This tour includes two days of guiding and transportation as well as all entrance fees. However, hotel accommodations, meals, personal expenses, travel insurance, and a tip for your guide are not included in the price. The tour costs $1499 for one to four passengers, with an additional fee of $120 per person for each additional passenger.

Option 2: Jerusalem, Qumran, Ein Gedi, and Masada Tour
This two-day tour starts with a drive from Haifa to Jerusalem, where you'll tour the city's highlights by car and then take a walking tour of the Old City. You'll visit the Christian Quarter to see the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Jewish Quarter to see the Cardo and Western Wall, and the Muslim Quarter to stroll through the fantastic markets. After that, you'll go to either the Israel Museum or Yad Vashem before heading to your hotel for the night. On the second day, you'll drive to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, before heading to Ein Gedi Nature Reserve for a hike and maybe even a float in the Dead Sea. Finally, you'll visit Masada, where you'll take a cable car to the summit and tour the 2,000-year-old Roman ruins before heading to the port to meet your ship. This tour includes two days of guiding and transportation, but entrance fees are not included in the price. You can pay the entrance fees of $79 per person as you tour or pay Avitours to prepay your sites. Again, hotel accommodations, meals, personal expenses, travel insurance, and a tip for your guide are not included in the price. The tour costs $1499 for one to four passengers, with an additional fee of $189 per person for each additional passenger.
